Michael Cheney of “Adsense Videos” applied the the pre-launch strategies and affiliate tools and JV strategies outlined in Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing Manuscript to the his launch.

Here is what Michael Cheney had to say about what he learned in the Manuscript:

——————————————————

“Mike - first off I just want to say thank you so much! The techniques I learned from Butterfly Marketing played a BIG part in helping me make $63,249 in sales in 24 hours!!

As I write this I’m still finding it hard to believe. It seems a lifetime ago that the BFM package landed on my doorstep and I started poring over it with my smile getting larger and wider with each new insight as I realized that as long as I APPLIED what I was learning the principles were going to make something BIG happen!

Little did I know just HOW BIG it would be when I launched AdSense Videos…

AdSense Videos - 33 Hours After Launch..

The site went live. My life changed forever - seriously the results have been incredible Mike - we’ve grossed over $200,000 in 7 days!! The site got an Alexa ranking on Launch Day of 351!

AdSense Videos was ranked Number 1 on the ClickBank Marketplace in the Marketing category just 4 days after the Launch!

I’ve also been getting, on average, one new subscriber every minute of every hour for the past SIX AND A HALF DAYS!!!

So - What did I learn from you Mike and from Butterfly Marketing? Where to start! I think one of the biggest things was the step-by-step approach. Everything I created for Affiliates, Joint Venture partners and for people going through the videos themselves has been step-by-step. I made everything as easy as I could and ‘muppet-proof’ as I like to call it!

I also realized that it’s paying attention to the smaller details BEFORE launch that really pay dividends AFTER the Launch. And BOY am I seeing that!

You gave some absolute gems of advice in Butterfly Marketing which have, without a shadow of a doubt, contributed in a big way to the overall success of AdSense Videos.

Thanks again!

Michael Cheney”

Christmas List – Make one!

Friday, November 24th, 2006

Are you tired of running around, feeling like you don’t know if you’re coming or going during the Holidays? Christmas is so full of activities and it can get overwhelming trying to get everything done on time. Plan ahead to save yourself the hassle this year, here’s a Christmas checklist to help keep you on track:
* Set a budget. Know exactly how much money you can spend and stick to your budget. Don’t spend one penny more. Once you have a budget in place, you will know exactly how to plan for you’re spending.  If money is tight this can reduce a lot of stress.
*Decorate your home. If your family likes to decorate both indoor and out, plan a day and have everyone in the family pitch in to decorate.
*Find a bargain. Don’t wait until the last minute to do your gift shopping. Get started early. Watch your newspaper and television for special sales.
*Plan the meal. Be prepared for your family dinner by planning every dish. If you are going to request that every family member bring something to the dinner, make those phone calls early in December.
*Mail packages. If you have family out of town that you won’t be able to visit, be sure to mail their packages in late November to early December. It’s best to mail them as early as possible, to ensure they will receive them before Christmas.  The post office can also be a nightmare close to Christmas so be warned and go early!
*Do your baking early. Cook and bake whatever food items you can early in the month. Some pies, candies and casseroles can be prepared ahead and frozen. Then all you have to do is defrost and warm it up for dinner.
The most important thing you can do to be prepared is to create your own To Do List. Some list ideas you might need are:
* Christmas gifts (don’t forget friends, bosses and teachers!)
* Menus
* Holiday errands
* Christmas card list
* Guest list for Christmas dinner
Make your list and check things off as you go along, this will give you a great sense of accomplishment and will help keep you on track, it’s much too easy to forget things during the holidays.
Merry Christmas!

Overweight Children Need after School Activities

Monday, November 20th, 2006

Is your child overweight? What does your child do when they come home from school? Have a snack and watch TV or play video games? Research and studies show that our children are growing more obese by the day. Many families all over North America are struggling to keep the weight of their children within reasonable limits. As a parent, I know that it’s nearly impossible for me to look into the tear-filled eyes of my son and refuse food. However, the types of food and activities are the key.

So, what’s the alternative? Stop buying the junk food and colas and no TV or video games after school.  Children tend to plop themselves on the sofa and munch away happily when they are in front of the TV or games. However, if the TV is off, their natural buoyancy will lead them to do more activities and other things that will cause their body to move. They in turn will be diverted from eating food.

Recreational after school activities are a must if your child is starting to put on those unnecessary pounds. It is better to begin these activities at an early age and get them use to being active after school rather than sitting around. The more weight the child gains in the earlier years, the harder he or she will have to work to loose it later on, not to mention the name calling and ridiculing that overweight children must deal with. There are TONS of activities that can occur after school instead of sitting in front of the TV. Walking, hiking, raking leaves, cleaning the pool or swimming in it, baseball, football, martial arts, skating, walking the dog, cleaning your car, even cleaning their room. Anything can be considered an activity as long as your child is not sitting and eating.  These activities can be fun and entertaining! It doesn’t need to feel like work.

If your child does require a snack after school, make sure the fridge and cupboards are filled with healthy, nutritional choices and not the high fat, sugary ones. Also, try to have snacks that can be eaten while moving and don’t require sitting. Pop/colas should be illegal to kids under the age of sixteen. There is no reason whatsoever to provide a child with pop.

Get your kids moving! Exercise in moderation never hurt anyone!

Life as a Mom!

Monday, November 20th, 2006

My son is five years old. I only have one child and I am the luckiest person on earth because I have a child! Every mom feels the same way but I am only dealing with myself and not everyone else in the world. For once, I am taking 5 minutes out of my day and letting out some of my worst fears, my best thoughts and feelings, my saddest moments, and my brightest days.

Being a mom is the hardest job in the world and there is so manual or job description or even payment. Everyone says that as technology evolves, life will get easier and more enjoyable. People will have more quality time with each other because we will have technology to take care of things for us. Our jobs will get easier. Our communication will be a constant wave. Then how come being a mom is harder today than it was 30 years ago?  I’m scared. I’m hopeful. I’m curious.  I’m a mom.
