I go by the name Kerry and I also answer to Mom, Mommy, MOMMY, Sweetie, Dear, Pumpy (I don’t get that one) , WOOF (for 12 years and that came to a sad ending a few months ago).
This is my first big step into the blog / internet world. Wow! I don’t feel all that different. I look the same and I feel the same. I’m still tired. I figured that there would have been some major transformation. Nope. It is still me, the Mom.
Some background on me:
I am 35 years old, married for 9 years (together for 18) and I have one child, a son who is 5, a fish named Lightning and I recently lost a dog of 12 years to cancer. I work full time for someone else which means I commute from home to work 5 days a week. Major drag! I love seafood, CSI and my family’s happiness is my first priority. My son has recently left a wonderful daycare of 4 years to venture out into the real world of “growing up”. That is a whole other story that I will cover in many of my posts.
My latest interest (probably for the last year) has been the internet. My home office, which by the way is shared with my husband and my son, is cluttered to the nines with print outs after print outs, books after books. It is insane! Information OVERLOAD!
My so is the joy and bliss that makes my world go around. Even though life gets stressful sometimes, I am lucky and my family is lucky. We are all lucky to have each other. However, there are still days when I will repeatedly say……….”Mom Needs A BREAK!”
